Thanksgiving for the Call to Promote Peace and Justice

We choose to live grounded
in your love, God of goodness,
And to your proclaim your wisdom,
the path of justice and peace.
We are thankful for your call,
For the Spirit that graces us,
For the social issues that engage us, and
For the communities that embrace us.
You have gifted us
And called us by name.
Even in times of darkness
We are moved toward
The Light of your Word.
We form the word peace,
We sing out the word of justice,
And we become, again and again,
Part of the chorus that echoes
Your music, your hope, your vision.
O God Source of Life, Creator of Peace,
help Your children, anguished and confused
to understand the futility of hatred and violence
and grant them the ability to stretch across
political, religious and national boundaries
so they may comfort horror and fear
by continuing together
in the search for justice, peace and truth.
With every fiber of our being
we beg You, O God, to help us not to fail nor falter. Amen.
Thank you Lord for the Holy Spirit working in our lives daily---working alongside us to learn self-control, love for others, showing peace and joy, teaching us to be generous, gentle and kind and building our faith in loving God the Father, Jesus the Son and Mother Mary.

Chocolate Concerns
Hi there,
I love your chocolate and I crave for it everyday. But I have a concern about your chocolate even though I am still young. The chocolate nibs you use is collected by children. This is a big issue for you and for others. I have researched deeper into chocolate and what’s behind it. I have seen a video and it has shown that your company and some countless others have signed the agreement. I have a big question for your company based on the information from the video. Do you use children to collect the cocoa nibs for your chocolate? This isn’t a question of hate but it is a question of concern. The video has changed my mind about eating chocolate. This is my biggest concern and if you’d like to have a check on the video, the link is below.

Evaluation on Eggs
Determination:
- Firstly we opened 2 milk cartons and 3 eggs.
- We opened 1 milk carton and poured it inside the bowl We also cracked the 3 eggs inside the same bowl and whisked milk and the eggs together.
- Then we soaked the bread in the batter and placed it in the skillet which was covered with margarine. We repeated this over and over again until there was enough for everyone.
- We served it on a plastic plates and we all ate. :)
Evaluation:
What went wrong?
- There were some times when we did not work as a group.
What went right?
- We got to make the right amount of french toast for everyone.
- At the end we got to work as a team
