Image result for a.a milne playsAlan Alexander Milne also known as A. A Milne is an author, poet and playwright. He was the creator and author of Winnie The Pooh. A. A Milne was born in London, England on January 18, 1882. He attended the University of Cambridge’s Trinity College. He then took up the career of being an author, poet and playwright in 1920. His father was the Headmaster of a private school named Henley House. His father’s name was John Vince Milne and his mother’s name was Sarah Marie Milne. His book ‘Winnie the Pooh’ was inspired and made for his son Christopher Robin Milne. His wife is named Dorothy. He wrote Winnie the Pooh because Christopher Robin had a stuffed bear which Christopher really loved. A. A Milne also served in the World War 1. During the times of his service in the World War 1, he wrote his first play which was named Wurzel-Flummery. He wrote many plays from books of different people such as The Ugly Duckling and Toad of Toad Hall. Some time later, A. A Milne started writing books for adults. His greatest success or achievement was his all time favourite Winnie the Pooh.
