Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator
The Great Glass Elevator is about Charlie Bucket, Grandpa Joe and Mr. Willy Wonka. Since Charlie was the last one standing, Willy Wonka told Charlie to go back home in the Glass Elevator. The book includes Charlie finding strange creatures on his way to go home from the Chocolate Factory. When Charlie, Grandpa Joe and Mr. Willy Wonka go to Charlie’s house, Charlie’s parents and families are relieved to see them. Though a strange thing happens, the grandparents of Charlie turn into babies. At the end of the book, Charlie is given the ownership of the Chocolate Factory and everything is back to normal.
My favourite part of the book is when Charlie’s grandparents turn into babies. This part is funny especially because as old as they are, they become young again.
I recommend this book to children that love adventure and children that loved reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The ages I recommend this book to is 7 and above.
